Public records. Clearer context.
eCourt Records is an independent court-records research service that brings case information, docket activity, and legal documents together in one place.
Explore the public record
Search by case name, case number, or words within a filing. Review docket activity, identify parties and counsel, and read available documents alongside the entries that describe them.
Case pages identify the court and jurisdiction so readers can distinguish proceedings with similar names. Embedded document viewers let you read each filing, find words within it, and refer to individual pages on the case page.
Built around the documents
Reading a record should not require piecing together disconnected files. eCourt Records connects filings to their case context and makes scanned pages searchable. Reader guides explain how to work with docket entries, document versions, and machine-recognized text.
Understand the limits of a record
Availability and terminology vary by court and jurisdiction. A case page may not contain every document or the latest court activity. Consult its record dates and availability notes when evaluating what it contains.
A filing records what a party submitted; an allegation is not a finding of fact. eCourt Records does not decide the merits of a dispute or replace the source court record.
Independent and accessible
eCourt Records is not affiliated with a court and does not provide legal representation or certified copies. Our aim is to make public records easier to find, read, and understand while keeping the source material distinct from explanatory content.
Help improve the record
